Madeleine and a friend of hers made some head bands to wear at Taekwondo, Madeleine's says 'Awesomeness'.  One of their instructors asked them to make him one so they made him a pink one.  Soleil tested it out for him.

We had an awful cold snap in Texas (20ish degrees F below 0 C) and spent a few days huddled indoors with the fire going.  Campbell and Finnegan played well together during this time and decided to dress up as Dementors disguised as Hogwarts students :)

Jeremy and Madeleine spent most of the weekend out selling Girl Scout cookies.  Well Madeleine was selling them, Jeremy was along as security.

They took a break to watch football, didn't go well, Jeremy's team (Patriots) are out of the playoffs now!

We babysat for friends that were celebrating a 40th birthday.  The kids had a lot of fun, mostly playing on their DS's and the little ones hung out and played together.  Good times!!

Finn's dentist visit

At Finn's dentist visit a few months ago they found a cavity in one of his molars.  So we scheduled to have it filled and took him in on the 6th of January to have it done.  Poor kid, he was a trooper, I was so suprised at how well he did and the dentist moved fast to get it filled. 

He didn't look thrilled but he seemed ok

Happy Birthday Jeremy

Jeremy has his birthday 10 days after Christmas.  For his birthday he wanted a second monitor and the office reorganised.  So we headed to IKEA to pick up a few new things, including curtains to help keep the sun out of his eyes in the afternoon.  The office is much improved and we don't know how he went this long with only one monitor!!  The kids had bookclub on the day of his birthday so he came along to that and we went to lunch/dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

Happy New Year!!

We spent New Years Eve with friends.  It was a struggle to make it to midnight for me but I did it YAY!!

Finn didn't quite make it, I think he made it until about 10:30pm!

Poor guy, he played hard earlier in the night and wore himself out!!

Here he was enjoying watching the fire, it was very cute! He was watching it with his friend but we weren't able to get any good pictures.

Izzy loved looking at Soleil, she was so sweet here watching Soleil sleep.

This was taken before she went to sleep for a couple of hours, to refresh for the New Year celebrations!!  Party girl!

The big kids sat around playing on their DS's while they waited for midnight.

After midnight Madeleine came to pinch me for the 1st of the month!!
